Aaja meri jaan

It is said that Aaja Meri Jaan was not a movie planned for R.D.Burman. It was Anuradha Paudwal who had offered him to compose an album for her featuring duets and there were 4 singers selected to accompany her- SPB, Amit Kumar, Shailendra Singh and Danny Denzongpa (who had sung for R.D.B previously too). However the company did not release those songs. One of the songs Aaja Meri Jaan was used as title song for the movie Aaja meri Jaan featuring Kishen Kumar but was used only for launching, not included in the movie. Later other songs from the movie were done by Amar Utpal.
